The full length, one piece base casting gives this machine incredible rigidity, yet it requires only a light touch to operate. Bedways are hardened and ground Meehanite for wear resistance. The quick change gearbox achieves all inch and metric threads without interchanging gears. The headstock is fitted with chrome-moly hardened and ground gears. Auto feed protection is provided by an adjustable overload clutch. Adjustable auto feed stops are standard equipment.
