Ares model 4818, CMS' midsized, multipurpose, 5-axis CNC machining center. The midsized Ares model is the most often requested since its dimensions are perfect for many businesses, making it possible carry out a work cycle on single larger sized items while permitting a pendular cycle on midsized components. In this picture can be seen - between Ares' CNC controlled, telescoping, safety doors - its central divider which makes it possible to carry out a pendular (nonstop) work cycle in complete safety. In Ares' nonstop cycle one side of the machine is open permitting the operator to unload and reload a part while on the other side of the central protective barrier Ares is carrying out a work cycle.
