The Nagel Vertical Spindle Machine type SPV 150 and Horizontal Spindle Machine type SPH 150 Cup Wheel Face Finishers are designed to finish flat, concave and convex surfaces. Cup wheel Face Finishers utilize free-cutting cup wheels which conform to the contours of the part. These machine types are capable of removing as little as a few microns of stock to several hundred microns in a short cycle time. This technology is used to finish pinion gears, torque converter plates, spine implants, orthopedic implants, etc.
