dipl. ing. h.w. fiessler founded the fiessler elektronik company in esslingen, germany, with the aim to produce optical-electronic appliances. in the management police the solution of the very specific problems of their customers were given priority since the beginning. in 1965 the development and construction of photoelectronic beams for accident security installation was started. since this time more than 10.000 fiessler infra-red accident prevention safety barriers are in industrial operation.
