Eitel Presses, Inc., based in Orwigsburg, PA, is America's largest manufacturer of hydraulic and mechanical straightening presses. Established in 1973, Eitel Presses was formed by two founding partners, Transmares Corporation of Carteret, New Jersey and Eitel KG of Karlsruhe, West Germany. Eitel Germany had been manufacturing hydraulic presses since 1952 but discontinued operations in Germany in 1978 which allowed Eitel Presses, Inc. to begin developing its own engineering and manufacturing expertise. Today, Eitel Presses, Inc. employs approximately 50 full time personnel. Throughout the years, Eitel has remained at the forefront of its field, continuously investing in its core operation and updating its technical abilities. Eitel has continued to adapt to changing technology with it's line of PC/PLC machines, and with it's newest line of PC controlled machines. With production of straightening presses as its only business, Eitel Presses, Inc. is the industry leader.
