scientific spectrum - midwest, inc was founded in early 1988, functioning as a sales representative for manufacturers in the lasers and electro-optics field. we serve the midwest territory: illinois, indiana, iowa, minnesota, missouri, ohio, michigan, and wisconsin. the customers, are primarily in the government, industrial, and university research and engineering labs. some of these industrial customers have o.e.m. requirements. over the past ten years we have successfully sold numerous product lines for many different manufacturers. the company was founded as a joint effort between stan potempa and scientific spectrum, inc. the successful west coast representative firm. in early 1989 all legal and financial ties were cordially severed between the two companies.
