Josef Polák, who established the company in 1919 in Prague, got the patent for die cast machine with vertical cold chamber in 1927 as the first one in the world. In the next years the company has gone through couple of transformations. In 2004 the company moved to the current location in Mimon/ Czech Republic under the name Polak s.r.o. From 2008 to March 2013 the company had been one of the companies of TTS Tooltechnic Systems AG & Co. KG seated in Wendlingen/ Germany and was named TTS Polak s.r.o. Polak s.r.o. Since 2008 TTS Polak s.r.o. has been one of the companies of TTS Tooltechnic Systems AG & Co. KG seated in Wendlingen/ Germany. Just as the company itself, also its strategy has been constantly developing. Today TTS Polak s.r.o. is a system supplier of die cast parts being able to provide its customers with complex solutions, from engineering and manufacture of die cast tools, through our own production of die cast parts, to the manufacture of finished subassemblies.
