mitts & merrill was started in 1854 and invented the keyseater in 1898.
the company at that time was located in saginaw, mi. fromag purchaced mitts in 1992 and added a broach line and their cnc keyseater, we stock almost all tooling, cutters for both mitts and fromag lines. we also have a service department.

in 1992 the company became mitts & merrill l.p., joined the frÖmag group, fröndenberg, germany and moved to harvard, il.
